January 13th, 2018
Today is the first official Saturday meeting of our of 2018 build season, FIRST Power Up! So far, it's been quite productive. The build team is busy sawing away and creating our prototypes to bring our entire team's ideas to life. The programming team is transferring our encoders code from LABView to Java. Float is constructing a mock field for us to test our concepts. Electrical is prepping all of their tools for when the robot is ready to be all wired up. Marketing's sub-teams are busy as well, whether writing letters to sponsors, recording interviews, working towards our goal to win Chairmen's award, or even writing blogs. We had a great lunch, and after lunch we all had a blast practicing our cheers for in the stands at competition. Even though our work day isn't done yet, we've already had some great progress for our first Saturday of our 2018 build season.
